Clinic FAQ


HOW CAN I HOST A CLINIC?

Please check the tour schedule and contact us to secure your date. You will need to send us information including host contact information, venue location, and size of indoor/outdoor arena, and seating for spectators. Please also send the name of the nearest airport including the driving distance to the venue. We require a 500.00 deposit and a signed clinic contract to secure your date.

IF I DECIDE TO BE A HOST, CAN I MAKE THIS PROFITABLE?

Yes, many hosts promote the clinic as a major event. Horse & rider participation should be limited to no more than 15 at a rate of 300.00 – 500.00 for a 2 day clinic and 450.00 – 650.00 for a 3 day clinic. There can be an unlimited amount of fence sitters at a rate of 50.00 per day. Fence tickets should be pre sold at a discount compared to what would be charged at the door. You can also contact you local 4-H Groups and offer group packages at a discounted rate. Many hosts have ran Silent Auctions and hourly raffle drawings on donated and purchased items.

HOW CAN I ATTEND A CLINIC?

Check out the tour schedule and contact a clinic host in your area, Typically a 50% non refundable deposit in required to hold your space with the balance due on the first day of the clinic. You will get the best value out of your clinic experience if you purchase the Mechanics N Motion Evolution Series DVD prior to the clinic so that you are familiar with the training methods he will be teaching.

WHAT KIND OF CLINIC IS IT?

It’s a horsemanship clinic. You will learn to become a more effective and efficient communicator with the horse. Mark will deliver a 12 month system to educate your horse for the selected discipline. The Evolution Series DVD parallels the clinic outline. The main theme the clinic is about creating a better body position with your horse. Mark will focus on teaching you to be a better leader with your horse so you can raise the level of your performance at competition.

WHAT LEVEL HORSE & RIDER IS SUITABLE FOR THE CLINIC?

Mark’s clinics are suitable for any level rider from novice through advanced horsemen. We recommend that your horse be at least green broke in order for you to be able to get the most out of the exercises that are introduced.
